Q:  How do you have a mass said for someone?

A:  Anyone can have a mass said for someone who is deceased.  The Intended for and the Requested by do not need to be parishioners at Our Mother of Sorrows. The mass stipend is $10.00 per mass.  You can come into the office and book a mass or call the parish office at: 585-663-5432.

 

Q:  How do I put something in the bulletin?

A:  Space is limited in our bulletin and preference is always given to Our Mother of Sorrows activities and announcements. You may email any articles in for consideration in  Microsoft Word ONLY to the parish office at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Q:  Do you rent out the parish hall?

A:  Yes, the Parish Hall can be rented out by a private group or individuals as well as outside organizations for a fee.  All requests are subject to the approval of the Business Manager , Susan Blaha, and Maintenance leader, Joshua Bankes. The request must be made in writing using our Facility Request Form. For groups/organizations requesting space, the proper insurance and hold harmless agreements must be submitted as well. Q:  How do I get my baby Baptized at Our Mother of Sorrows?

A:  Sister Leandra Kosmoski, ssj handles all of our Baptisms.  You will need to contact her 2-3 months prior to the Baptism to get all of the necessary forms and information.  She can be contacted at the parish

Q:  How do I schedule my wedding at Our Mother of Sorrows?

A:  You will need to contact the parish office for information on scheduling your wedding at (585) 663-5432.  Pre-Cana and Foccus are required prior to your wedding.
