SOCIAL JUSTICE & CONCERNS

There will be a collection for the Children’s Clothes Closet in Rochester on October 18 & 19.

Please help us keep the children warm this coming winter with your contribution of hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, socks, boots, etc. Please bring your donations to the entrance of the Church Hall. Thank you!

 

MEN’S CLUB NEWS

The Men’s Club will host a Roast Beef and Stuffed Chicken Breast buffet on Tuesday, October 21st. The cost is $12.00 per person and all men are invited. Sign up sheets for reservations are available in the back of Church. Deadline for reservations is Sunday, October 19. Please call your friends and help make this dinner a success.

 

Day of Reflection

The Women’s Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Rochester is celebrating its third annual day of reflection Forgiveness: Journey to Joy on Saturday, October 25 at Nazareth College. The keynote speaker is internationally known gospel singer and speaker, ValLimar Jensen. Reflection groups will offer participants an opportunity to specifically address personal challenges of forgiving. Registration is on-on through stbernards.edu; the costs is $40 and $15 for full-time students. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. For more information call 585-442-9816. This event is co-sponsored by Nazareth College.

 

 

CYO BASKETBALL

 Basketball CYO registration for the 2008-2009 season will be held Friday, October 17th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Church Hall.  Two checks will be

 required:

 - Registration fee for $60

  - Uniform deposit of $50 (refundable)

 Registration is open to all children in grades 3-8. The season will begin 11/22/08 and run through 02/09/09. Parents of children participating will be
