Social Ministry Committee Schedule/Collections 2007/2008

The Social Ministry Committee of Our Mother of Sorrows works to develop an awareness of, and responsiveness to, human needs in our parish and community. Some of the programs we work on are: Support for pro-life, Bi-monthly food collections, the Giving Tree gift distribution at Christmas time, Clothing drives for the Brockport Hispanic Migrant Ministry and Parishes in the City of Rochester, Diaper Drives for the Women’s Care Center, Food Drives for food shelves in the Greece, Rochester, and Brockport areas and special projects to meet specific needs of the less fortunate.

The committee meets monthly and we welcome any interested persons to join. Ongoing support is needed for the various activities.
